I’ve been obsessed with words for as long as I can remember. As soon as I could read, I would stay up all night gorging on books. At eight years old I launched a music magazine, although printing costs and pocket money mismanagement soon saw its demise.
Fast forward to now and I have over 14 years of experience in advertising, content marketing and editorial. That’s good news for you because you can be sure that I can edit a page into a paragraph, but I’m also a storyteller that knows how to weave an engrossing yarn. I have agency nous too, having worked for big, medium and small advertising agencies on copy for household names such as Dr Martens, Watties, Kiwibank, Meridian Energy, Vodafone, The Warehouse, Serato and Fidelity Life.

I’ve worked for print and digital women’s magazines as both beauty editor and editor and have extensive copywriting experience in the beauty, health and wellness sector. Telecommunications writing has become one of my niche skills. I am also passionate about environmental work.

Next, we can discuss your needs. If you know exactly what you want, that’s fine. But I can also walk you through a plan of ‘must haves’, ‘ideals’ and ‘long term vision’. So we might launch with website and brochure copy and set goals to continue with content marketing.
I will dig deeper
I will take some time to get a feel for your competitors and market trends to help me to figure out your special kind of magic. I also put on my ‘target audience’ hat so that I can empathise with their problems and how wepromote your brand as a solution.
Creative work begins
The rest is up to me. I will be in touch with the first draft of your copy and we can go from there with any revisions. It’s important that you’re happy with the work, so each project has one round of revisions built-in so that I can ensure you get the quality of work you came for. It’s go time!
